Leather Jackets (EN 17092 Level A and AA)

Leather motorcycle jackets are well-suited to EN 17092 compliance because high-quality full-grain cowhide naturally exceeds the abrasion resistance requirements for Level A and often Level AA. Our leather jacket production for German brands typically uses:

• Full-grain cowhide at 1.0–1.2mm for Level A compliance
• Full-grain cowhide at 1.2–1.5mm for Level AA compliance
• Pre-curved sleeves and back panel for riding position fit

Textile Jackets (EN 17092 Level A)

Textile jackets for the German market are constructed in Cordura (500D, 600D, or 900D) or ballistic nylon. Can you produce to Level AA?

Yes. Level AA requires higher abrasion resistance than Level A — we achieve this through leather weight specification (1.2–1.5mm full-grain cowhide) or multi-layer textile construction at impact zones. Level AA production is our standard for touring and sport jacket styles.

Do you produce garments with German-language labels?

Yes. EU regulations require care labels and safety information in the language of the destination country. We produce German-language care labels, EU sizing labels, and CE mark labels as standard for German market production. Label artwork is provided by us or by your brand — either is fine.

What is the realistic timeline from first contact to product on shelf in Germany?

Typically 4–5 months: 1–2 weeks for spec discussion and approval, 3–4 weeks for sampling, 2–4 weeks for sample review and Notified Body submission, 6–8 weeks for bulk production, 1–2 weeks for shipping.
